All work is undertaken in accordance with the latest industry best practice, standards and guidance, including the Environment Agency guidance on Land Contamination Risk Management (LCRM)

Site Investigation

We design and supervise ground investigations to identify potential ground risks and provide the information required to aid design and construction.

  • Site Investigation services to BS 5930:2015 and the associated various Eurocodes
  • Site Supervision including logging
  • Soil and rock subsampling for Geotechnical and geo-environmental laboratory testing
  • Site supervisiton of insitu testing and drilling activities including:
    • Dynamic sampling and probing
    • Cable percussive drilling
    • Rotary cored and open hole drilling
    • Standard penetration testing (SPT)
    • Hand excavated foundation inspection pits
    • Trial pitting and trenching
    • Soakaway testing in accordance with BRE Digest 365
  • Ground gas monitoring
  • Groundwater monitoring
